Job description

Inizio Medical is growing! We are expanding our team of Medical Content Specialists based in the Philippines. Our Philippines team will work alongside our global teams in ApotheCom, Nucleus Global and Ashfield MedComms across the US, UK, EU, and South Africa which will give you the opportunity to work on cutting edge projects, working at the forefront of drug development and commercialization.

We have two shift patterns available for this role: 7am - 4pm and 1pm - 10pm (PHT). Please take this into account when applying.

Combining complex scientific understanding with creativity, Inizio Medical develops impactful medical affairs strategies and compelling communications. Underpinned by world-class medical analytics capabilities and applied AI tools, Inizio Medical redefines the role of medical affairs in drug development and commercialization.

You are responsible for (a) accuracy checks of scientific content drafted by medical writers and/or clients, (b) managing citations eg sourcing and marking up references, uploading to and linking on document review platforms, (c) generating data tables and simple figures, (d) collating medical journal metrics from online database, (e) extracting data from scientific papers for consideration in systematic literature reviews, (f) checking alignment of manuscript content to standard reporting guidelines, (g) performing program landscaping for key international conferences.

Academic Background:

  • An advanced degree in a biomedical subject

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to generate materials to a high standard and quality, with minimal internal review/assistance
  • Excellent project-management and organisational skills
  • Flexibility, adaptability and resourcefulness
  • Judgment and problem-solving
  • Excellent quality control skills and meticulous eye for detail – style/consistency, grammar, scientific accuracy, proof-reading, layout, etc.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and urgency; ability to take ownership of projects
  • Ability to work independently under limited supervision.
  • Solid understanding of human pathophysiology and disease; ability to learn new and diverse subject areas quickly
  • Ability to work within a team and form productive working relationships within, and across, Inizio Medical
  • Flexibility and ability to manage simultaneous priorities, changing deadlines, and limited resources.
  • IT skills – Word, PowerPoint, Endnote, basic Excel
