Job summary

ClinTech Solutions is hiring Medical Coders to join our remote team. We transform clinical data into standardized codes to support safe clinical care while maintaining GDPR compliance and data security.

Starting training is provided; you will process a minimum of 50 letters per day during training, with KPI monitoring and mentoring. Opportunities for promotion to full coder are available as performance is demonstrated.

Qualifications

• Clear attention to detail and accuracy in coding tasks.
• Ability to meet performance targets independently and in a team.
• Comfort with remote work and stable internet setup; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Code 80–100 letters/day (post-probation).
• Identify and flag incomplete or unclear clinical data.
• File documents accurately using EMIS, SystmOne, or Docman.
• Apply coding with awareness of QOF and PCN DES targets.
• Escalate documents for clinical review when needed.
• Contribute to audits and quality reviews.
• Maintain GDPR compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Attend team meetings, training, and SEA sessions.

Main Responsibilities

• Coding Volume: Code a minimum of 80-100 letters/day (post-probation).
• Data Accuracy: Identify and flag incomplete or unclear clinical data.
• Document Management: File documents accurately using EMIS, SystmOne, or Docman.
• Target Awareness: Apply coding with awareness of QOF and PCN DES targets.
• Clinical Escalation: Escalate documents appropriately for clinical review.
• Quality Assurance: Contribute to audits and quality reviews.
• Compliance: Strictly maintain GDPR compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Team Collaboration: Attend team meetings, training sessions, and SEAs. Communicate effectively and support colleagues as needed.

• Process a minimum of 50 letters/day.
• Receive regular KPI monitoring, feedback, and mentoring.
• Promotion to full Coder role upon satisfactory performance!
• Understanding of medical terminology and coding standards (Don't worry, training is provided!).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to meet performance targets both independently and as part of a team.
• Bonus: Familiarity with NHS systems is a strong advantage.
• Starting Basic Salary: 12,500 PHP
• Post-Probation Salary: Adjusted based on performance and management review.
