Job summary

CompIQ Philippines Branch is seeking a Medical Bill Review Associate (Coder) to accurately review, analyze, and process medical bills using the IQ Review System. The role ensures adherence to fee schedules, UCR guidelines, PPO requirements, and client instructions while maintaining data accuracy and timely productivity.

The candidate will encode various bill types, meet daily quotas, update provider and claim data, and flag issues for leadership.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years college level or higher.
• Able to work at any shift schedule.
• Ability to work on a hybrid schedule while meeting productivity and quality standards.
• Has knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Has knowledge in Medical Terminology such as CPT / ICD-9 / ICD-10 coding.
• Experience in Medical Bill Review is a plus.
• Proficiency with 10-Key by touch; some typing ability.

Responsibilities

• Encodes medical bills using IQ Review System (pharmacy, physical therapy, pathology, radiology, DME, anesthesia, med-legal).
• Meet daily production quotas analyzing and processing bills per fee schedule/UCR; select PPO network based on client instructions.
• Add or update Provider and Claim information as appropriate.
• Follow client instructions and training material to review bills.
• Provide quality review as directed by Supervisor.
• Identify system/bill review issues and provide feedback to supervisors or manager.
• Other duties assigned.
