Job summary

Magna Powertrain Philippines seeks an experienced Engineer Mechatronics to contribute to electronics design and development of the traction inverter for electric vehicles.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering and 3–8 years of relevant experience, with strong English communication and collaborative skills; you will coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to meet timing, cost and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• 3-8 years of professional experience in electrical engineering or mechatronics.
• Very good written and spoken English; German language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and optimize the respective component design (electrical and physical properties) in coordination with Magna departments and suppliers.
• Lead design, design reviews, test specifications, and FMEA with suppliers.
• Design electrical interfaces including tolerance analyses and ensure parts availability per project planning.
