Job summary

NextGenEnergyJobs in the Philippines seeks an experienced mechanical assembler to implement basic assembly tasks safely under supervision. You will follow SOPs, assemble electrical and mechanical parts, and contribute to quality from the shop floor.

You will document failures, work with engineering to translate designs into layouts, and cooperate with the test group to troubleshoot and rework to meet system requirements. A strong safety mindset and reading drawings are essential.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate safe working conditions.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and schematics.
• Familiar with mechanical components such as blowers, pumps, fans, valves.
• Wiring/electrical troubleshooting is a plus.
• Ability to work at cross-functional levels to solve problems.

• Will work with system test group to trouble shoot assemblies and rework materials in order to meet system requirements
• Must perform hand-over-hand sub-system quality checks

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and/or Work Instructions exactly as written to produce a quality product
• Assemble electrical and mechanical assemblies
• Will be responsible for the quality of work, and workmanship standards
• Will be responsible for entering failure reports to improve quality
• Will be required to work with engineering to take conceptual design to physical layout
• Will work with system test group to trouble shoot assemblies and rework materials in order to meet system requirements
• Must perform hand-over-hand sub-system quality checks

Requirements

• Must demonstrate safe working conditions
• Must be familiar with the theory and operation of mechanical components such as blowers, pumps, fans, valves, flow meters, and pressure regulators
• Wiring and electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus
• Must be able to read engineering drawings, and some schematics
• Must work at cross functional levels to solve problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
• HS diploma or technical/military school certification in electronics, electrical, mechanical, or process engineering/technology preferred.
• At least 6 – 8 years of related experience.
