Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a licensed engineer status, along with 2-3 years of experience in Cost Engineering and on-site supervision. The successful candidate will act as the main technical advisor, supervise workers, manage project schedules, and ensure quality control and safety compliance. Willingness to relocate for work is a must.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years experience in Cost Engineering, Planning, Scheduling, estimating and other areas of the project.
• At least 2-3 years experience in the field area.
• Willing to be relocated anytime to monitor other areas and sites.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, craftspeople and operatives.
• Sets out, levels, and surveys the site.
• Checks plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
• Draws up work schedules and communicates any adjustments to crew members and clients.
• Gathers data, compiles reports, and delivers presentations to relevant stakeholders.
• Completes quality assurance and provides feedback to the team.
• Supervises workers, monitors and checks activity, oversees quality control and health and safety matters on site.
