Empire Shared Services Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a multidisciplinary hardware team.

You’ll drive the new product development cycle from initial design to prototyping of gaming machines, collaborating with designers to explore options and advance projects. Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering – Mechanical, Mechatronics or related fields.
• 5 to 7 years’ experience in mechanical engineering or product development.
• Proficient in SolidWorks 3D CAD software or equivalent design-related software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
• Background in metal fabrication, plastic molding/injection, or machine assembly is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop prototypes and validate designs with the design team.
• Generate 3D data, part lists and assembly drawings to support manufacturing, testing and assembly.
• Design parts, components, and assemblies to fulfill project requirements.
• Investigate new materials and development methods relevant to the project.
• Record and analyze testing data, refine designs to meet safety, performance and efficiency standards.
• Create engineering documents for mass production, design changes and reports.
• Write and maintain technical manuals, user guides, layouts and catalogs.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, suppliers and product management teams to ensure clear documentation.
• Provide technical support during assembly and disassembly of machines and documentation.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned.
