Job summary

ECAPro Outsourcing Corp. is seeking a Mechanical Draftsperson in the Philippines to produce precise engineering, fabrication, and manufacturing drawings.

You will prepare BOMs, maintain documents, and collaborate with engineers, project managers, and production teams to meet project requirements. • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as Mechanical Draftsperson or similar drafting role.
• Experience in manufacturing, automotive, industrial, or engineering-related projects.
• Proficiency in Solidworks and CAD software.
• Experience preparing detailed manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, and engineering drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Experience with Bills of Materials (BOMs), parts lists, and manufacturing documentation.
• Knowledge of engineering standards and manufacturing processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Produce accurate technical drawings, general arrangements, detailed fabrication drawings, and manufacturing drawings.
• Prepare detailed assembly drawings, component drawings, and associated parts lists.
• Develop and update product drawings for new and existing products, components, and assemblies.
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant industry standards, client specifications, and internal guidelines.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers, project managers, clients, and manufacturing teams.
• Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support procurement and production.
• Maintain accurate version control, revision history, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality assurance, engineering, and installation teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Interpret engineering specifications, sketches, and design concepts and convert them into accurate technical drawings.
• Stay updated on CAD technologies, drafting standards, and industry best practices to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Position Overview

As a Mechanical Draftsperson, you will play a critical role in producing accurate technical drawings and documentation to support ongoing projects and product development initiatives within the manufacturing, automotive, and industrial sectors. You will be responsible for preparing detailed engineering, fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing drawings, as well as developing parts lists and Bills of Materials (BOMs). You will work closely with engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements, industry standards, and manufacturing specifications.

Key Responsibilities
