Collins Aerospace PH in Batangas seeks engineers to design and develop major components for functional systems using CAD and engineering methods. The role supports product development, collaboration with manufacturing, and validation activities across cross-functional teams.
Ideal candidates contribute to problem solving, perform modeling/drafting per standards, and participate in EHS practices to ensure safe operations.
Level of Work:
Designs major components or major portions of functional systems, technically advanced prototypes, and promotional or specific products using computer design and engineering systems.
Develops or improves products and facilitates manufacturing operations. Develops data and makes layouts, sketches, and notes for design proposals.
Investigates pertinent design factors such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials and equipment, interchangeability, replace ability, strength-weight efficiency, and contractual specification requirements and cost.
Designs, develops and tests metallic or non-metallic structures or materials and their related fabrication processes for use in engineering designs.
Performs advanced modeling and drafting based on company standards.
Designs and analyses interior system and components in cooperation with system engineers;
Performs system safety analysis, including hazard assessment and fault stress analysis;
Collaborates with other Engineering groups, Manufacturing, Operations and Supply Chain; Manages and meets cost and product weight targets.
Participates in the validation of the product using different engineering methods.
Adheres to participate in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others.
