Job summary

Comfac Global Group Inc. in Manila seeks a Mechanical Engineer with HVAC design experience. You must be a graduate in Mechanical Engineering and a board passer, with at least two years of HVAC design experience.

You will design mechanical systems, attend pre-bid meetings, and conduct site surveys. You will estimate costs, prepare the scope of works, and coordinate with owners or their representatives to define project requirements, ensuring quality and timely delivery within budget.

Responsibilities

• Attends pre-bidding and bidding conferences to clarify documents for a proposed project.
• Conducts actual site surveys for mechanical installation requirements upon approval of the RFA form.
• Creates a design/schematic diagram of the proposed mechanical requirements.
• Estimates costs for implementing the proposed mechanical systems using local and imported materials.
• Prepares the detailed scope of works, clarifying extent of works after site surveys and coordination with the owner or representative.

1. Attends pre-bidding and bidding conferences and other meetings that would clarify issued documents or concerns regarding a proposed project.

2. Conducts Actual Site survey for the proposed mechanical installation requirements upon acceptance of Request for Action (RFA) form from Sales Group or other concerned departments.

3. Makes a design/schematic diagram of the proposed mechanical requirements.

4. Estimates the cost of implementing the proposed mechanical system requirements using local and imported materials.

5. Makes the detailed scope of works for the proposed project that would include clarification or extent of works involved, considering site survey/s conducted and discussion/s or coordination/s made with the owner or his authorized representative
