• A Mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles or machinery, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Mechanics work in a variety of industries, such as automotive, industrial, or aircraft, depending on their specialization.
• Diagnosing Issues: Use diagnostic tools and techniques to identify mechanical problems in vehicles or machinery. This can involve listening for sounds, performing tests, or inspecting parts.
• Repairs and Maintenance: Perform repairs or replacements of broken or worn-out parts, including engines, transmissions, brakes, tires, exhaust systems, or other vehicle/machine components.
• Routine Inspections: Conduct routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake checks, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles or machinery in good working condition.

Education

• A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
• Post-secondary education or completion of an apprenticeship program in mechanics or automotive technology is often preferred.
• Certifications (Optional but beneficial):
• ASE Certification (Automotive Service Excellence) is often required for automotive mechanics.

Experience
