MECHANIC

We are looking for a Mechanic who is skilled with diagnosing mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance, and repairing vehicles or machinery. Works with a variety of tools and equipment to address mechanical problems and ensure the optimal performance of the vehicles or machinery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY

• Diagnostic and Inspection:

• Regularly review the maintenance checklist submitted by the drivers.

• Perform thorough inspections of vehicles or machinery to identify issues.

• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to determine the cause of mechanical problems.

• Test drive vehicles to understand and diagnose issues.

• Maintenance:

• Conduct regular maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.

• Replace worn-out parts such as filters, hoses, belts, and spark plugs.

• Perform tune-ups to ensure vehicles run smoothly.

• Repairs:

• Repair or replace faulty parts and systems, including engines, transmissions, and suspension systems.

• Handle electrical repairs and troubleshoot issues with electronic systems.

• Address brake, fuel, and cooling system problems.

• Reporting:

• Report to warehouse manager explain repairs and maintenance needed.

• Request necessary parts if replacement is needed.

• Provide estimates for repair costs.

• Safety and Compliance:

• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.

QUALIFICATION

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certifications in automotive technology or a related field is preferred.




• Prior experience as a mechanic or in a related field is highly desirable.
