Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • The Analyst - Material Management (Material Systems) is responsible for providing operational and database support for Direct Materials, focusing on the implementation and management of the I-Supplier portal and Kanban systems.

  • This role works closely with internal teams and external suppliers to support pull system implementation in collaboration with the Supply Planning Manager, Buyers, Planners, and Manufacturing Supervisors.

  • These efforts help optimize performance, enhance customer delivery, improve inventory efficiency, and drive process improvements.

  • This role monitors and tracks Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate performance, identify opportunities for process improvements, enhanced reporting, and optimized metrics, and ensure business continuity within the organization.

  • Additionally, the role involves communicating action plans to the supply chain team and collaborating effectively to implement solutions that drive continuous improvement.

Job Qualifications:

  • College degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or any related field.

  • At least 1-2 years experience in the supply chain field, specifically in material management, Pull Planning (Kanban) systems, Production Planning, report analytics, and other related fields.

  • With a strong background in data analysis, and/or quantitative problem-solving.

  • Possesses experience and knowledge in computer database programs and ERP systems, including Oracle. Familiarity with Business Intelligence and Data Visualization tools such as DOMO, Power BI, and Tableau is a plus.

  • Proficient in Google Suite applications such as Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google slides, Google meet, Gmail.

  • Microsoft Office applications such as MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, macros)

  • Proficient in both verbal and written English communication.

  • Has well-developed analytical skills and can work under minimum supervision

  • Willing to work on shifting schedule
