Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered Master Electrician license is required.
• Graduate of Electrical Engineering or a related electrical course/field.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, motors, and controls.
• Basic understanding of instrumentation works and machine maintenance.
• Proficient in reading electrical diagrams and manuals.
• Familiar with GMP and workplace safety standards is an advantage.
• Experience in manufacturing, food processing, or production environments is preferred.
• Able to work on-site in Mandaue City, Cebu and flexible with shifts.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Registered Master Electrician is responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment within the manufacturing facility. The role helps ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production machinery, electrical equipment, and facility systems while complying with company safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, equipment, and production machinery.

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, circuit breakers, control panels, lighting systems, motors, and other electrical components.

• Diagnose electrical faults and equipment issues to minimize production downtime.

• Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and electromechanical production equipment.

• Perform basic instrumentation-related works and assist in checking electrical controls and devices.

• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, equipment manuals, and technical specifications.

• Conduct routine inspections of electrical installations and equipment to identify potential faults, safety hazards, or maintenance requirements.

• Ensure electrical works are performed in accordance with applicable electrical and workplace safety standards.

• Coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering, Production, and other departments regarding equipment repairs and maintenance schedules.

• Support preventive maintenance activities to maintain the reliability and efficiency of plant equipment.

• Observe proper safety procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and company policies while performing maintenance activities.

• Maintain proper documentation and reports for electrical repairs, inspections, preventive maintenance, and other assigned activities.

• Perform other electrical and maintenance-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Registered Master Electrician (RME) license/certification is required.

• Graduate of Electrical Engineering or a related electrical course/field.

• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, electrical wiring, circuit breakers, motors, controls, and electrical equipment.

• Basic knowledge of instrumentation works and machine maintenance.

• Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.

• Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is an advantage.

• Experience working in a manufacturing, food processing, industrial, or production environment is an advantage.

• Able to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Safety-conscious and able to follow electrical and workplace safety procedures.

• Willing to work on-site in Mandaue City, Cebu.

• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, or holidays when required by plant operations.
