Job summary

STERLING INSURANCE COMPANY, INC is seeking a Marketing and Sales Assistant who will support the Manager in sales generation, recruitment, training and development of agents and producers, including direct tie-ups with corporate accounts.

The role covers assisting in marketing strategy implementation, market research, agent coordination, customer relations, and monitoring producer performance to meet company goals across the local market in the Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Assists the superior in the development and implementation of marketing strategies covering areas of concern
• Assists in generating studies and recommendations on product development and innovation to suit local insurance demand
• Directs local market research activities on market share, market potentials, competitor products and activities
• Assists in implementing and coordinating sales training programs and product knowledge orientation among sales agents
• Assists in devising approaches to enhance customer relations and customer service with institutional clients and significant accounts
• Solicits and develops business ties with companies within the jurisdiction to widen marketing reach
• Recruits, trains, maintains and motivates agents, brokers and intermediaries to do business for the company
• Monitors and evaluates the performance of all producers and provides support to achieve department goals
• Assists in formulation of sales strategies and market penetration
• Translates and implements sales strategies and corporate programs for operation areas
• Coordinates administrative and logistical requirements of Agents/Brokers
• Conducts agency and client visitation to enhance business relations with agents and clients
• Assists in coordinating licensing of agents with the Insurance Commission
• Assists in local accreditation of the Company with banks, financial institutions and government instrumentalities
