Role Overview
We are looking for a Marketing Manager with strong digital skills to take day-to-day ownership of our campaigns. You will plan, build, launch and optimise activity across paid, organic, content and email — working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to turn strategy into delivery.
This is a doing role as much as a managing one. You will be in the ad accounts, in the CMS and in the analytics platform yourself. Candidates who have worked in a digital marketing agency are particularly encouraged to apply: that background tends to build exactly the multi-channel fluency and delivery pace this role needs.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Delivery
- Plan, build and launch digital campaigns across paid search, paid social, email and content.
- Manage day-to-day performance of paid accounts — budgets, bids, audiences, creative rotation and negative keyword hygiene.
- Coordinate campaign timelines, assets and approvals across internal teams and external suppliers.
- Write and brief campaign copy, landing pages and creative concepts; work with designers to bring them to life.
Organic, Content & Website
- Deliver the content calendar across blog, landing pages, social and email.
- Execute on-page SEO improvements, keyword research and content optimisation; support technical SEO fixes with developers.
- Maintain and update the website through the CMS, keeping content accurate, current and conversion-focused.
- Manage organic social channels — scheduling, community engagement and performance tracking.
Email, CRM & Automation
- Build and send email campaigns; manage lists, segmentation and deliverability.
- Set up and maintain automated journeys — welcome flows, nurture sequences, re-engagement and abandoned-cart or equivalent.
- Keep CRM data clean and ensure lead handover to Sales is accurate and timely.
Reporting & Optimisation
- Produce weekly and monthly performance reports across all owned channels.
- Monitor GA4 and platform dashboards, flag anomalies, and propose optimisations backed by data.
- Run A/B tests on ads, subject lines, landing pages and calls to action, and document the learnings.
Coordination
- Act as day-to-day contact for agencies, freelancers and media partners.
- Track budget spend against plan and keep invoices and purchase orders in order.
- Support the Senior Marketing Manager with planning, forecasting and new initiatives.
Requirements
Essential Requirements
- 3+ years in a marketing role with a clear digital focus.
- Hands-on experience running paid campaigns in Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager (LinkedIn Ads a plus).
- Practical working knowledge of SEO principles and content marketing.
- Experience with an email or marketing automation platform (HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Marketo or similar).
- Confident using GA4 to pull, interpret and present performance data.
- Comfortable in a CMS (WordPress, Webflow, Shopify or similar); basic HTML familiarity welcome.
- Strong copywriting skills and a sharp eye for detail.
- Well organised, able to juggle several campaigns at once and hit deadlines.
Highly Desirable
- Previous experience at a digital marketing agency, having delivered campaigns across multiple clients and sectors.
- Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Blueprint or HubSpot certification.
- Experience with design or video tools (Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) for quick-turnaround assets.
- Familiarity with SEO tooling such as Semrush, Ahrefs or Screaming Frog.
- Exposure to conversion rate optimisation or tools like Hotjar and Google Optimize alternatives.
- Experience in [industry / B2B SaaS / e-commerce / retail].
What Success Looks Like
- First 30 days: fully up to speed on all channels, tools and reporting; owning weekly reporting independently.
- First 90 days: running the campaign calendar end to end with a live testing backlog in place.
- First 6 months: measurable improvement in engagement and conversion metrics on the channels you own.
