Marketing Manager (Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals)

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or higher qualification in Economics, Finance, Petroleum, or related fields.
• Over 8 years of marketing experience in refined products, petrochemicals, crude oil, natural gas, or new energy within the Philippines, with extensive knowledge of the local energy market.
• Familiarity with current import and export procedures, local laws, regulations, and practices.
• Strong working relationships across the oil, gas, petrochemical, and new energy sectors.
• Experience in developing effective strategies and business plans for marketing.
• Understanding of trade partner and channel dynamics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain good relationships with petroleum companies, refineries, petrochemical, and new energy companies. Collect import and export demand information, including tendering data, and report to management and trading team.
• Conduct market research, monitor competitors’ positioning, and coordinate with departments to activate marketing plans effectively.
• Identify trade opportunities, develop business in the Philippine energy industry, and collaborate with the global trading team on sales and marketing activities.
• Support and evaluate potential business opportunities.
• Contribute to strategic planning, and develop and implement marketing goals and strategies.
• Monitor local market changes and recommend new business development strategies.
• Define professional pricing structures and guidelines, and ensure training for personnel and partners.
• Provide regular reports on marketing progress for various energy sectors.
• Achieve performance targets set by management.
• Adhere to PetroChina’s policies and regulations.
