Job summary

CYVL is seeking its lead marketing hire to own PR, product launch, content, brand, and thought leadership. You will shape a bold narrative around our infrastructure intelligence platform and drive adoption with municipal buyers and investors.

You will build the go-to-market for our sensor launch, manage a lean marketing engine, and partner with sales to accelerate growth while leading freelancers and agencies. This role is based in Boston with flexible work options.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in B2B marketing building programs that support sales-led growth.
• Strong content creation translating complex tech into clear narratives.
• Customer obsession with understanding buyers and driving action.
• PR and agency management with proven earned-media results.
• Comfortable operating lean: set strategy and execute across multiple workstreams.
• Fluent with marketing tech stack: automation tools, data platforms.
• Strong people and project management with prioritization in a startup.
• Ability to assemble and direct creatives (camera, art, motion) when needed.

Responsibilities

• Run point on public relations and earned media with cities and agency partners.
• Architect go-to-market for the new sensor launch from a blank page.
• Own content strategy across web, social, and email while enforcing brand voice and messaging for municipal buyers and investors.
• Build thought leadership programs to establish category ownership in infrastructure intelligence; manage freelancers and agencies.
• Own marketing strategy, budget planning, and reporting; track spend and measure impact.
