MicroSourcing is seeking a Marketing Executive based in Manila (Eastwood, Quezon City) for a hybrid, day-shift role. You will own the day-to-day delivery for Future of Mining, planning and delivering email campaigns and multi-channel marketing to drive registrations and engagement.

You'll collaborate with global marketing, commercial and events teams, build expertise in event campaigns, audience segmentation, and reporting while supporting the worldwide marketing program from Manila and Perth

Your Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Executive who will own the day-to-day delivery for Future of Mining, planning and delivery of marketing campaigns, particularly email marketing, for The Future of Mining. You'll build deep expertise in one event's full annual cycle, from early planning through to post-event follow-up, working closely with the global marketing, commercial, and events teams.

This role will be based in Manila, providing dedicated marketing support to the global Future of Mining team, who are mainly based in Manila and Perth.

Your key duties will include but are not limited to:

Event Marketing Planning & Campaign Delivery

• Support the CMO and Head of Events in developing the annual marketing plan for Future of Mining, aligned to registration, exhibitor, and sponsor targets.
• Plan, build, and deliver multi-channel campaigns across email, social, and digital that drive delegate registrations, exhibitor engagement, and sponsorship visibility.
• Manage the marketing campaign calendar against key milestones in the event cycle (early bird, standard registration, final push, on-site, and post-event).

Email Marketing & Marketing Automation (HubSpot)

• Plan, build, and deliver email marketing campaigns that support Future of Mining's growth.
• Develop and manage audience segmentation across delegates, exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, and media to deliver personalised, behaviour-driven communications across the customer journey.
• Design and implement automated workflows that move contacts through tailored nurture journeys, ensuring no email is a standalone send but part of a wider registration or engagement strategy.
• Maintain and optimise the Future of Mining email lists in HubSpot, ensuring high deliverability, relevance, and engagement through effective data management.
• Analyse and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights and creating bespoke triggers or follow-ups to improve results.
• Test and experiment with new approaches to acquisition and retention, balancing creativity with data-led decision-making.

Social & Digital Promotion

• Manage ongoing organic social campaigns for Future of Mining, particularly on LinkedIn.
• Deliver paid digital or paid social activity.
• Assist with updates to the event website and registration landing pages to keep messaging and offers current.

Measurement, Reporting & Optimisation

• Track and report against registration and campaign KPIs: opens, clicks, conversions, registration volume, and funnel performance.
• Provide regular performance updates to marketing and commercial stakeholders, translating data into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Use data and testing to continuously optimise campaigns, segmentation, and messaging in the lead-up to the event.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with the Sales/Commercial team on exhibitor and sponsor marketing support.
• Liaise with Content/Editorial for speaker and programme promotion, and with Creative/Design for campaign assets.
• Coordinate with Events Operations on registration data, on-site requirements, and post-event follow-up.
• Work with the global marketing team to ensure brand and messaging consistency.

General Marketing Administration

• Maintain campaign trackers, schedules, and asset libraries for Future of Mining.
• Monitor competitor events and activity in the mining and resources conference space.
• Support ad-hoc research, database updates, and other marketing administration as needed.

This role will report to the CMO.
