Power Mac Center is seeking a skilled Market Research professional to deliver actionable insights that inform strategy, product development, and marketing in the Philippine market.
The role requires strong analytical abilities, experience with primary and secondary research, and the ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations for strategic decision-making within a tech and consumer electronics context.
This role will focus on delivering actionable insights to support strategic decision-making, product development, marketing strategies, and competitive positioning. The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented, and skilled at translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
Conducts market research to identify emerging trends, consumer behaviors, untapped market segments, and new distribution opportunities in the Philippines through primary and secondary research.
Conducts product research related to products aligned with the company’s objectives and goals– looking into product trends, product performance, customer needs, and innovation opportunities in the Philippine market.
Conducts competitor research on their strengths, weaknesses, pricing strategies, and market positioning to identify market gaps or opportunities for product differentiation in the Philippine market.
Conducts innovative foreign product research to support PH landscape research.
Regularly monitors and compiles current market trends, economic conditions, and competitive activity relevant to the aforementioned data to forecast future Philippine market trends, consumer behavior, industry opportunities, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
University degree in Market Research, Marketing, Information Technology, or any related field (Post-graduate is a plus).
At least 2-3 years of experience in market research, competitor analysis, or business intelligence— preferably within tech accessories, consumer electronics, smart automation products, IT, or FMCG industries handling high profile customers and product categories.
Knowledge of telecommunication, consumer electronics, interior designer, contractor dealer/retailer/firm profiles is a plus.
Knowledge of foreign OEM suppliers and manufacturers is a plus.
Proficiency in market research methodologies (both qualitative and quantitative), including surveys, focus groups, and secondary surveys
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize and interpret complex data.
Experience with market research tools (e.g., Nielsen, Statista, Euromonitor, SEMrush, Google Analytics).
Proficient in iWork and Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Powerpoint).
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, Tableau).
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings in an accessible and actionable way.
