Job summary

onsemi in the Philippines is seeking a Training Coordinator for Assembly Operations. You will ensure operators meet training and certification requirements and lead cross-training to build a multi-skilled workforce according to business demands.

You will coordinate competency plans, track assessments, manage training logistics, and maintain records in the LMS while supporting continuous learning and organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in manufacturing environment.
• At least 3 years of college education.
• Proficient in English; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate competency development plan updates with supervisor/manager.
• Ensure on-time completion of competency assessments.
• Monitor training schedules and logistics readiness.
• Follow up with facilitators on training commitments.
• Manage certification and re-certification for operators and technicians.
• Maintain training records in the learning management system.
• Support other training requirements as needed.

Job Description

The role will support training coordination for Assembly Operations. He/She will be responsible for ensuring that operators meet all required training and certification requirements. He/She will also lead operator flexibility and cross-training initiatives to develop a multi-skilled workforce capable of supporting different processes based on business requirements, manpower balancing, and production demands.

• Coordinates the completion/updates of the competency development plan developed by the supervisor/manager


• Coordinates the on time completion of the competency assessment from applicable employee, supervisor/manager


• Monitor the confirmed training schedule to ensure that training can be implemented and all the necessary logistics are ready.


• Follow up/ Remind the facilitators on their training commitment.


• Monitors and manages the certification/re-certification of all operator, technician and other support group


• Maintain training records of all Personnel in learning management system


• Perform other functions as may be needed to support training requirements necessary for the organization

Responsibilities

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• 100% compliance with all training requirements for Assembly Operations (all direct labor employees)


• 100% attendance for new and revised specification orientations


• Lead and sustain operator flexibility training programs to ensure adequate cross-skilled manpower across critical Assembly Operations processes


• Zero administrative errors related to training compliance, work instructions, and specification requirements


• Achievement and sustainment of 5S+ certification in Assembly Operations

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in manufacturing environment


• At least 3 years of college education


• Can communicate effectively in English or native language . can own the stage


• Has initiative for continuous learning and self-development


• Has video editing skills, knowledgeable in media art is a plus
