Job summary

WD in Laguna, Philippines is seeking a Technician IV, Manufacturing to support production quality, process optimization, and equipment qualification within the manufacturing environment.

You will perform KIV checks, assist with tooling and conversion, support yield initiatives, and build test pieces to ensure stable, efficient operations.

Open to onsite in Binan City, Laguna, CALABARZON, Philippines. 4+ years in electronics manufacturing preferred. Shift work may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Technology, Electromechanical Technology, Computer Technology, Industrial Technology, Electrical Technology, or related field.
• At least 4 years of work experience in the relevant field.
• Knowledge of equipment setup, qualification, tool conversion, and process verification activities.
• Experience supporting process engineers with yield improvement initiatives and engineering trials is an advantage.
• Industry exposure in Electronics or Semiconductor Manufacturing setup is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs KIV checking for tool critical parameters such as clamping speed, picker teaching, and other defined check items.
• Performs other tasks assigned by process engineers for yield improvement.
• Support engineer for addressing quality issues for both internal and external customers.
• Support other experimental builds from PM, slider fab, and other trials.
• Attend PIS (stoppage, coordinate for repair and qualification).
• Perform qualification after tool setup and conversion.
• Build test piece for Line maintenance use.
