GE HealthCare in the Philippines seeks a manufacturing technician to support product development and manufacturing activities. You will set up and run data acquisition equipment for tests, perform basic testing and troubleshooting, and document results under close supervision.

Qualifications

• Must have an associate degree in Manufacturing, Engineering or Technology or a high school diploma with 2 years of electrical/technician experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot subsystems and systems using defined methods.
• Ability to interpret basic written technical information.
• Demonstrated ability to work with limited direction and information.
• Strong attention to detail and quality-minded work habits.
• Ability to communicate in English or local language.

Responsabilités

• Test production assemblies and sub-assemblies for correct operation and compliance with performance specs.
• Set up, calibrate, tune, operate, modify, and maintain standard production and test equipment per detailed instructions.
• Under close supervision, perform routine experiments, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis to resolve equipment or process issues; collect and analyze data and elevate irregularities.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and test results.
• Use basic technical communications across the product lifecycle to support improvements in system performance and reliability.
• Maintain daily production output in a highly standardized environment with close supervision and frequent review.
• Participate in quality control inspections and comply with all EHS, Quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Execute training plans as required.
• Collaborate with team leads, engineers, supervisors, and managers to achieve team goals and drive quality and process improvements.
• Participate in Quality, Lean and continuous improvement activities and employee engagement teams.
