Job summary

Mang Inasal Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to effectively plan, organize, lead, and control production operations in the assigned area to meet product volume, timeliness, quality, and hygiene standards.

You will schedule production, direct activities for smooth flow, and drive process improvements while upholding food safety. A Bachelor's degree in Food Science/Technology, Engineering, or Business and at least 1 year in a food plant is required; willingness to work

• At least 1 year of work experience in a food manufacturing plant, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Good written and oral communication, computer literacy, and critical thinking.
• Willing to work shifting schedules in Marilao, Bulacan.

Responsibilities

• Plans and schedules production operations based on volume forecasts and requirements.

• Ensures adherence to quality and safety standards for products and workplace.
• Initiates process improvements and equipment upgrades.

Job description

Title: Manufacturing Supervisor

The Manufacturing Supervisor effectively and efficiently plans, organizes, leads, and controls production operations in his/her assigned production area to meet product volume, quality, timeliness, good manufacturing practices, sanitation, and hygiene.

• Plans and schedules production operations based on volume forecast and actual requirements.
• Directs and controls the activities in the production area to ensure a smooth flow of production operations.
• Ensures that the assigned area contributes to the consistent attainment of quality and safety standards for finished products and in the workplace.
• Initiates process improvements, equipment upgrades, and other opportunities for innovation.
• Collaborates with other operating units on behalf of the section.
• Verifies accurate and timely production reports and other reports that may be so required by management.
• Observes, promotes, and implements food safety and quality practices as indicated in the policy.

Job Qualifications

• A graduate of Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Technology, Food Technology, any Engineering or Business courses.
• With at least one (1) year of work experience in a food manufacturing plant, preferably involved in similar production lines, and in a supervisory capacity.
• Must have basic knowledge/experience in food processing technology and in handling production seminars, training, and similar orientation programs.
• Must possess good oral & written communication skills; be computer literate; have critical thinking skills; be expressive & assertive.
• Must be willing to work on shifting schedules at Marilao, Bulacan
