Job summary

Excelitas Technologies Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to oversee daily operations, drive efficiency, and ensure safe, cost-effective production of high-quality products in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

The role requires a proven track record in senior manufacturing leadership, Lean, JIT, Six Sigma, and strong financial governance. You will optimize capacity, space, and machine utilization while guiding continuous improvement across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any engineering discipline).
• Minimum ten (10) years manufacturing experience in a senior production/engineering/managerial role.
• Deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing, JIT, and Six Sigma. Knowledgeable in OEE and TOC as well as manufacturing cost and financial governance.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops specific manufacturing plans to achieve department goals and executes daily.
• Ensures production plans meet cost targets and customer delivery/quality requirements.
• Develops resource allocation and planning models for manufacturing operations.
• Responds to changes and issues affecting future manufacturing operations.
• Monitors capacity planning, space utilization, and machine efficiency scorecards/trends.
• Ensures efficient production and headcount planning.

Our facility in Manila, Philippines has been operating since 1996 with key functions in Design and Development, Engineering, Manufacturing and other disciplines. This site specializes in product design, process development and mass production of Photodiodes, Photodiode Arrays and High-Performance Sensors. These product technologies are primarily for LiDAR applications such as autonomous vehicles and range finding, as well as safety and security applications including smoke detection and luggage scanning.

We are presently seeking for Manufacturing Managerwho shall be responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of quality products while meeting delivery commitments and driving continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develops specific manufacturing plans to achieve department goals and objectives and executes decisions on a daily basis.
• Ensures that production plans are met with the lowest cost and that customer delivery and quality requirements are satisfied.
• Develops resource allocation and planning models for manufacturing operations.
• Responds to changes, issues, and problems that affect or may affect future manufacturing operations.
• Ensures the efficient performance of capacity planning, space utilization, and machine efficiency of scorecards and trends.
• Ensures the efficient performance of production and HC planning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering (Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering).
• Minimum ten (10) years manufacturing experience in a senior production/engineering/managerial role, preferably in the semiconductor and electronics industry.
• Deep understanding of Lean Manufacturing, JIT (Just-in-Time) and Six Sigma Methodology. Knowledgeable in OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and TOC (Theory of Constraint) as well as manufacturing cost and financial governance
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
