Coherent Philippines Pte Ltd in Calamba is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer to lead time studies, balance lines, and optimize layouts. You will support New Product Introduction from concept to production and drive Lean initiatives.

The role requires a B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering and at least 3 years in semiconductor or electronics fields. You will work onsite with cross-functional teams to improve labor utilization and overall efficiency.

Competenze

• B.Sc. Electronics Engineering (Physics, Electrical and related fields also considered).
• At least 3 years of experience in Semiconductor or Electronics / Optoelectronics and Fiber optics Industry.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct time studies, motion studies, and work measurement.Support New Product Introduction (NPI) from concept through production.Balance production lines to maximize productivity. Analyze manufacturing capacity and identify bottlenecks. Improve labor utilization and manufacturing efficiency.Optimize factory layout, workstation ergonomics, and material flow. Develop labor standards and production capacity planning. Develop mechanical designs using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or equivalent).Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives including:

• 5S

• Kaizen

• Value Stream Mapping

• SMED

• Waste Reduction

• Visual Management Support inventory reduction and continuous flow manufacturing.

Education & Experience

• B.Sc. Electronics Engineering (Physics, Electrical and related can apply).

• At least 3 years of experience in Semiconductor or Electronics / Optoelectronics and Fiber optics Industry.
