Job summary

VAST LIGHTING CORP in the Philippines is seeking an electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing setting. You will perform regular inspections, read electrical diagrams, and coordinate with the Maintenance Department while ensuring safety standards are met.

The role requires physical fitness, willingness to work overtime, and strong problem-solving abilities to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production.

Qualifications

• High School graduate; vocational electrical training preferred.
• Experience as an electrician, preferably in manufacturing.
• Able to read electrical diagrams and plans.
• Willing to work overtime, shifts, weekends, or holidays.
• Physically fit and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and machines.
• Conduct regular inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical facilities and equipment.
• Diagnose electrical problems and perform necessary repairs.
• Install and maintain wiring, lighting systems, outlets, switches, and control panels.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety rules and standards.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies.
• Maintain records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Department and other departments regarding electrical concerns.
• Use appropriate tools, equipment, and PPE.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
