Job summary

John Clements Consultants, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Supervisor for Batangas to lead full-cycle accounting operations, including cost and inventory accounting, payroll, and financial statement preparation. You will supervise a team of 3 staff and report to the Accounting Manager.

The role requires hands-on oversight of journal entries, tax compliance with BIR, audits, and timely financial reporting in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience with full-cycle exposure (journal entries, financial statements, payroll).
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• Strong communication and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute directives from Finance Manager and Adviser as needed.
• Maintain/update books of accounts: cash receipts, cash disbursements, AP, general journal, petty cash.
• Coordinate, review and check accuracy of transactions prepared by accounting clerks.
• Reconcile bank transactions with payables, remittances, debit memos and bank charges.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, schedules, and mid-month projections.
• Coordinate with external and internal auditors during audits.
• Prepare weekly cash position for check signing.
