Key Responsibilities

• Translation: Convert written materials, such as reports, articles, or multimedia, from Mandarin to English or another target language, and vice-versa.
• Interpretation: Provide simultaneous or consecutive interpretation during meetings, conferences, or other events to facilitate real-time verbal communication.
• Accuracy & Clarity: Ensure that translations are accurate, clear, grammatically correct, and comprehensible to native speakers of the target language.
• Cultural Nuance: Maintain cultural relevance and ensure that core ideas and information from the original text are retained; research and understand industry-specific terminology to ensure precision of technical translations.
• Proofreading: Review and edit translations to identify and fix language issues, ensuring a high-quality final product; coordinate with other translators or editors as needed.
• Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information and discussions with professionalism and maintain confidentiality.
