Qualifications

• Native Mandarin speaker or equivalent fluency.

• Previous experience teaching children or school-aged students preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered Mandarin Chinese lessons.
• Provide on-site, face-to-face instruction to students.
• Adapt teaching strategies and materials to accommodate different ages, abilities, and learning levels.
• Develop appropriate lesson plans, activities, exercises, and learning materials.
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Incorporate Chinese culture, traditions, and real-life language use into lessons where appropriate.
• Maintain appropriate classroom management and student engagement.
• Communicate professionally with school staff regarding students’ learning and progress.
• Participate in relevant school activities, meetings, and events as required.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessment, and student progress.
• Perform other teaching-related duties as reasonably assigned by the school.
