Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in Metro Manila seeks a senior network operations professional to identify technologies, design telecoms infrastructure, and lead project collaborations with vendors and system integrators.

The role requires deep experience in telecoms, VOIP, PABX, and enterprise networks, with strong leadership, mentoring, and problem-solving skills; English fluency is essential and Japanese/Tagalog skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, IT, Business, or equivalent years of experience.
• CCNA and Voice Certification is an advantage
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in network operations and support
• At least 5 years experience in supporting a large, complex data network
• Knowledge in operating systems and infrastructure technology.

Responsibilities

• Identifies technologies and solutions to support the technology road map.
• Provides subject matter expertise to related technology disciplines for collaborative projects.
• Interacts with solution and technology vendors for project services and technology updates.
• Mentors IT Technician, Telecoms within the group.
• Collaborates with team to design Telecoms Infrastructure for new projects and enhancements.
• Leads proof of concept activities and designs/assesses performance of customer projects.
• Performs service testing and benchmarking for IP services and enhanced customer experience.
• Provides isolation, resolution, and tracking for escalated alarms and issues.
• Manages recurring problems and implements long-term solutions.
• Escalates incidents to vendor for resolution when necessary.
• Invokes change management for network changes.
• Reviews service work orders and manages implementation timelines.
• Executes capacity plans and upgrades for high availability.
• Plans and executes POC for new network elements with vendors and integrators.
• Manages trouble tickets and ensures resolution within SLA.
• Provides assistance via client technical meetings for escalated concerns.
• Mentors IT Technician and Telecoms team members to enhance skills.
• Designs maintenance activities and knowledge base creation.
• Creates and maintains detailed network infrastructure diagrams and documentation.

I. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Identifies technologies and solutions to support the technology road map.
• Provides subject matter expertise to related technology disciplines for collaborative projects.
• Interact with solution and technology vendors for project services and technology updates, among other engagements.
• Provides mentoring to IT Technician, Telecoms within the functional group.
• Collaborates with team members to create and develop plans and design of Telecoms Infrastructure to support new projects and enhancements.
• Leads proof of concept activities, as well as conduct design and performance assessment of customer projects.
• Performs service testing and benchmarking for IP services and enhanced customer experience.
• Provides isolation, resolution, and tracking for escalated alarms and issues.
• Manages recurring problems and creates and/or implements long term solutions.
• Escalates incidents to vendor for resolution when necessary.
• Invokes change management process for every changes that needs to be applied on the network.
• Reviews service work order from IT Technician group and manage the implementation timeline based on the content.

• Plans and executes proof of concept (POC) activities for new network elements integration, with close coordination to technology vendors and system integrators.

Educational Requirement :
