Overview

Tax Advisory Manager to oversee client engagements or key components of larger advisory projects. This role involves managing team members, delivering expert tax advice, and contributing directly to the quality and success of each engagement. You will also provide coaching and development support to junior staff and may begin to take on leadership in business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading one or more client engagements or segments of large-scale tax projects.
  • Delivering high-quality Australian tax advice to a diverse client base, including SMEs, family businesses, trusts, partnerships, foreign subsidiaries, and listed companies.
  • Ensuring compliance with Australian tax legislation and identifying opportunities to improve tax efficiency for clients.
  • Conducting research and analysis to support strategic tax planning initiatives.
  • Playing a key role throughout the client engagement lifecycle, including presentations and meetings with senior stakeholders.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members to support their career development.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting regulations.
