Merck Group is seeking a detail-oriented finance professional for cost accounting and profitability analysis within a global Shared Service Center in the Philippines. The role supports cost accounting processes, master data maintenance, and reporting aligned with international standards.

Ideal candidates have a business-related degree and initial accounting/finance experience, plus familiarity with SAP CO-OM and CO-PA. Night shift availability is required as part of operations.

Qualificações

• Degree in a business-related discipline preferred.
• Initial experience in accounting/finance with full-cycle cost accounting and profitability analysis.
• Experience within a Shared Services Center preferred.
• Experience with Cost Accounting and Profitability Accounting.
• Experience with SAP CO-OM and SAP CO-PA.
• Willing to work night shift.

Responsabilidades

• Support cost accounting and profitability analysis for assigned entities in a global Shared Service Center.
• Assist local finance and controlling units in cost accounting and profitability analysis.
• Manage maintenance and posting processes in cost accounting for overhead costs overview.
• Support maintenance of cost accounting master data per global guidelines and integrity constraints.
• Establish valid set of cost centers, internal orders, and projects.
• Handle master data requests via mailbox and MDG-F tool including transfer price updates, reports, and troubleshooting.
• Perform period-end closing procedures (monthly/quarterly/yearly) and prepare reports per international standards.

Your Role:

• Support in the areas of cost accounting and profitability analysis for assigned entities within a global Shared Service Center.
• Assist local finance and controlling units in cost accounting and profitability analysis.
• Manage maintenance and posting processes in cost accounting to ensure an accurate and timely overview of overhead costs for controlling analysis and business decisions.
• Support the maintenance of cost accounting master data, adhering to relevant global guidelines and integrity constraints.
• Establish a valid set of cost centers, internal orders, and projects.
• Manage master data-related requests via mailbox and the MDG-F tool, including system transfer price updates, reports, and troubleshooting.
• Support in performing period-end closing procedures (monthly, quarterly, yearly) and reports in accordance with international standards and guidelines.
