Job summary

SM City Valenzuela (SM Supermalls) seeks a Facilities Manager to supervise mall equipment operations and ensure safe, efficient utilities for mall operations. You will plan and implement repairs, maintenance, and replacements of MEPFS systems and ensure compliance with government standards.

Responsibilities include overseeing MEPFS, contractor management, utility performance optimization, tenant coordination, and safety training initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional license in related field required.
• Experience in electro-mechanical maintenance and supervision preferred.
• Experience in managing facilities for high-rise buildings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MEPFS operations and maintenance to ensure mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems run safely and efficiently.
• Manage contractors and projects: bidding, inspections, and progress monitoring to meet standards and timelines.
• Ensure optimal utility performance by monitoring water and power usage and implementing corrective measures.
• Support tenant coordination by reviewing MEPFS plans, conducting inspections, and addressing service concerns.
• Promote safety and professional growth through enforcing safety standards and ongoing training.
