Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Metro Manila to keep production equipment in optimal operating condition.

You will plan daily work schedules for maintenance staff, prioritize tasks based on load and headcount, and coordinate with other departments to resolve machine issues. The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, and proven experience supervising maintenance in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience in a maintenance supervisory role within a manufacturing / production environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Keep equipment in Operational mode with minimal downtime.
• Plan work schedules for subordinates based on production load and headcount.
• Coordinate with other departments on machine maintenance issues.
• Implement scheduled preventive maintenance and analyze preventive actions during overhauls.
• Ensure equipment remains in good running condition to support production.

Job description

The Supervisor is responsible for keeping the equipment in Operational mode at minimal downtime and ready for production use, planning the work schedule of subordinates based on the production load and headcount, communicating and coordinating with other departments concerning machine maintenance-related problems. Responsible for the implementation of scheduled preventive maintenance of equipment, analyzing and providing preventive actions during machine overhauling while ensuring that equipment is in good running condition at all times to ensure manufacturing support at all times and to prevent equipment failure or unplanned machine downtime and hit the 100% PM rate.
