Job summary

Newfold Digital is seeking a Facilities Technician in the Philippines to monitor, inspect, install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and data center infrastructure. You will ensure MDF/IDF equipment stays fully operational to prevent downtime and coordinate with maintenance teams on cabling and network repairs.

A BOSH and NCII in Electrical Installation and Maintenance are required, with at least 1 year in facilities management.

Qualifications

• Must hold a BOSH Certificate in Electrical Installation and Maintenance.
• Must hold an NCII Certificate in Electrical Installation and Maintenance.
• At least 1 year of solid experience in Facilities Management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess all company equipment; ensure installations are in good working condition.
• Perform regular inspections of all equipment and facilities.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment, wirings, and fixtures.
• Ensure MDF/IDF equipment are fully operational to avoid downtime.
• Repair network lines and re-install structured cabling and ports.

What you’ll do & how you’ll make your mark.

• Monitors and assesses all company equipment and ensures installations in the facility are in good working condition.
• Conducts regular inspection of all company equipment and facilities.
• Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical equipment, wirings, and fixtures.
• Ensures company’s data center’s Main Distribution Frame (MDF) and Intermediate Distribution Frame (IDF) equipment are on its full operation to avoid production downtime.
• Repairs network lines and commodities and re-installs structured cablings and ports.
• Coordinates and complies with regulatory requisites including Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), DOLE and PEZA Standards.

Who you are & what you’ll need to succeed.

• Must be BOSH Certificate and NCII Certificate Holder in Electrical Installation and Maintenance
• At least 1-year solid experience in Facilities Management
• Skilled with equipment maintenance.
• Can work on a graveyard shift.
