Holiday Plaza Hotel in Cebu City, Cebu seeks an experienced panday to join our Maintenance & Handyperson Services team. This full-time role maintains and repairs hotel facilities, ensuring safety and comfort for guests and staff.

The ideal candidate has proven trades experience across plumbing, carpentry and electrical work, reads maintenance manuals and blueprints, and can work independently or with the team. We offer competitive pay and stable employment.

Formación

• Proven experience as a skilled tradesperson or panday with a strong background in maintenance and repair work
• Proficiency in multiple trades including plumbing, carpentry, electrical repairs and general handyperson skills
• Knowledge of building systems, safety protocols and proper use of hand and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints and work orders
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanour when interacting with guests and staff
• Flexibility to respond to maintenance emergencies and work varying shifts as needed
• A valid trade certification or equivalent hands‑on experience is highly desirable
• Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights, in confined spaces and perform manual labour

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on hotel facilities, including plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry and general repairs
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests, front desk and housekeeping staff
• Repair and maintain fixtures, equipment and structures throughout the hotel including rooms, common areas, kitchens and exterior areas
• Conduct regular inspections of hotel premises to identify potential issues before they become major problems
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs completed and materials used
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritise work and meet deadlines
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Identify the need for specialised repairs and coordinate with external contractors as required
