Job summary

Orica Philippines is seeking a Superintendent - Maintenance Execution at the Limay Manufacturing Site to lead maintenance execution, reliability engineering, spare parts management, and continuous improvement to keep critical equipment safe, efficient and available.

You will partner with operations and technical teams to reduce downtime, optimize maintenance costs, and develop leadership capabilities within a world-class manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer with PRC registration.
• 7+ years in mechanical engineering; 5+ in supervisory role.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing.
• Knowledge of PLCs and automation technologies.
• Understanding TPM/OEE/Lean/Continuous Improvement desirable.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management with safety as a priority.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe and effective daily maintenance activities; respond to breakdowns with minimal production disruption.
• Prioritize work based on safety, environment, quality, and operations; coordinate with Production Supervisors.
• Ensure maintenance work meets quality, compliance, and reliability standards set by Maintenance Eng. team.
• Drive reliability and continuous improvement through best practices and engineering collaboration.
• Manage maintenance resources, overtime, and contractor support to ensure qualified staffing.
• Oversee budgets, spare parts usage, and workshop operations to optimize lifecycle performance.
• Maintain records, inspections, and ensure proper handover with permits.
