This role will be responsible for understanding role responsibilities and supporting the manufacturing and facility operations through the competent execution of general maintenance activities. **Responsibilities & Requirements:*** Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.* Complete all assigned safety training on time and follow all safety policies and procedures.* Use knowledge of Safety Data Sheets for proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.* Make certain that all disposal drums and containers are properly labeled.* Daily inspection of chip hoppers at each machine and dump in proper recycle container (brass, aluminum, steel) as required.* Manage and properly dispose of all shop floor cardboard, trash, and crates on a daily basis.* Regularly check all oily rag and sorbent drums throughout shop and properly dispose of as required.* Exchange paint booth drums as required; properly label and store in Haz-Mat Building.* Separate trash from corrugate for proper disposal and safely operate cardboard compactor; manage cardboard bales by neatly storing them in the warehouse yard.* Manage non-hazardous wastewater storage and schedule removal.* Maintain oil storage and maintain oil inventory levels.* Maintain recyclable items such as plastic, paper, and aluminum.* Maintain Hazardous Material Building. Organize and store all drums and containers in appropriate areas.* Manage waste oil drum and skids.
