EastWest Bank is seeking an experienced Machine Learning Operations Engineer to lead end-to-end MLOps across the organization from their Makati hub. This hybrid role requires coordinating with data science, engineering, and infrastructure teams to deploy, monitor, and govern ML models while ensuring reproducibility and governance.

The candidate should have 5+ years in software/data platforms with 3+ years in MLOps, strong cloud and CI/CD experience, and excellent communication to translate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or related field; a Master's degree is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of software engineering, data platforms, or ML infrastructure experience, including 3+ years in MLOps.
• Strong expertise in MLOps tools, cloud platforms, containerization, and CI/CD for ML deployment.
• Proficiency in Git, model versioning, and end-to-end ML lifecycle management.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills for cross-functional work.

In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of end-to-end MLOps pipelines, enabling the scalable deployment, monitoring, and governance of machine learning models across the organization. You will collaborate closely with data science, engineering, and infrastructure teams to establish reliable, reproducible, and scalable machine learning workflows that support business objectives.

What the role will entail

• Design, build, and maintain scalable MLOps pipelines to support the continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring of machine learning models.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Engineers to streamline the transition of models from development and testing to production environments.
• Implement automated monitoring, logging, and performance tracking frameworks to ensure model reliability and effectiveness.
• Establish and enforce best practices for model versioning, reproducibility, and end-to-end machine learning lifecycle management.
• Manage model governance, access controls, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Lead initiatives focused on model performance optimization, drift detection, and automated retraining to support long-term model accuracy and stability.

What we're looking for

• At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, data platforms, or machine learning infrastructure, including a minimum of 3 years in an MLOps-focused role.
• Strong expertise in MLOps tools, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization technologies, and CI/CD frameworks supporting machine learning deployment.
• Proficiency in Git, model versioning, automated data and model pipelines, and end-to-end machine learning lifecycle management.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes, evaluate solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage cross-functional stakeholders and translate technical concepts into business value.
