Job summary

SoftwareOne is seeking a skilled Microsoft 365 Solutions Architect to lead pre-sales and deliver compelling technical proposals. You will guide customers and internal teams, analyze complex requirements, and develop architectural designs and cost models for professional and managed services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 solutions and related components.
• Experience providing technical guidance to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Lead pre-sales activities and own proposals, SOWs and cost estimates.
• Present proposals to customers and guide scope/ Commercials to contract sign-off.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.

Responsibilities

• Possess and maintain expert knowledge in M365 technologies and components.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Partner and own pre-sales activities with the field-based account manager.
• Analyze business requirements and create accurate technical solution proposals.
• Prepare cost estimates for services and managed solutions; consult with engineers and architects.
• Present Proposal/SOW to customers and drive scope and commercials to sign-off.
• Handover to delivery team and oversee governance and upsell opportunities.
• Collaborate with BDMs and sales leadership to drive net new business and support customer acquisition.
• Develop solutions including architectural design, SOWs, service design, and BOMs.
• Act as a technical evangelist at conferences, user groups, and webinars.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on marketing content and messaging; travel when needed.
• Maintain regional service delivery metrics and project status; continuous learning.
