Job summary

Expedock is seeking a reliable LTL/FTL Operations Support Specialist to oversee overnight transportation for a US client. You will update ETAs in the TMS, upload PODs, and resolve issues while handing off to the day team.

This remote role requires strong written English, comfort with multiple systems, and attention to detail. You’ll support training for weekend coverage and help maintain accurate shipment records.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, freight operations, transportation coordination, or logistics customer service.
• Familiarity with a transportation management system (TMS); experience with Sunnybrook is an advantage.
• Strong written English communication skills for shipment updates and handoffs.
• Comfortable navigating multiple systems including TMS, portals, and email.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general admin tasks.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work night or overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Shipment Updates: Monitor shipments and update ETAs in TMS and portals.
• POD Management: Upload POD documents to shipments across TMS and portals.

About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented LTL/FTL Operations Support Specialist to support overnight transportation operations for a US-based client. This role focuses on keeping shipment information accurate and up to date across transportation management systems (TMS) and customer portals, managing proof of delivery (POD) documentation, and addressing operational issues that arise during the shift.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working across multiple systems, communicates clearly in writing, and can work independently while ensuring a smooth handoff to the day team.

What You’ll Do

• Shipment Updates: Monitor shipments and update estimated times of arrival (ETAs) and arrival times in the transportation management system (TMS) and customer portals.
• POD Management: Upload and attach proof of delivery (POD) documents to the correct shipments across the TMS and customer portals.
• Overnight Issue Handling: Monitor and address operational issues as they arise during the shift, documenting outstanding concerns and providing clear handoffs to the day team.
• Records and Documentation: Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date shipment records across multiple systems.
• Operational Support: Help maintain service continuity as shipment volumes increase and assist with training a new team member for weekend coverage when needed.

What You Need

• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, freight operations, transportation coordination, or logistics customer service.

• Proven reliability, punctuality, and attendance, particularly when working night or overnight shifts.

Technical Requirements

• Fiber internet (PLDT Fiber, Converge, Globe Fiber, etc.) - recommended speed of 100/50 Mbps
• Backup internet (mobile hotspot or secondary ISP) capable of at least 20 Mbps
• Quiet, conducive home workspace
• OPTIONAL: Wired Ethernet connection preferred during work hours
• OPTIONAL: Power backup (UPS) if the location experiences frequent outages
