About the Role

We are seeking a talented logo or graphic designer with substantial experience and a deep passion for logo design to contribute to our extensive logo library. The primary focus of this role is logo creation. A strong visual sensibility is essential, as well as the ability to craft savvy, search engine-friendly names for your designs.

What you’ll do

• Design 100% original vector-based logos for upload to BrandCrowd, ensuring they meet agreed KPIs for review and publication.

• Create high-quality font or text-based logos using the BrandCrowd Maker, preparing them for review and publication while meeting established KPIs.

• Maintain accurate records of your work in both personal and team trackers.

• Utilize reverse image search (RIS) tools to verify that your designs are not overly similar to any existing published logos on BrandCrowd or elsewhere online.

• Report any copyright infringements to team leaders.

• Engage in copywriting by adding keyword-driven titles and relevant tags to enhance the discoverability of BrandCrowd logos on Google and the website.

• Craft concise logo descriptions and page descriptions for landing pages as needed.

• Design unique original graphics and icons for the logo maker and other template makers within BrandCrowd’s design libraries.

• Review, curate, and enhance logo stock using our administrative tools to ensure they meet agreed KPIs for sales on BrandCrowd.

• Edit and enhance existing logos and template inventory, adjusting colors, text, and taglines as required.

• Support the Logo Curation Team and the SMT Curation Team when necessary.

• Additional responsibilities may arise as part of the role.

What You Bring

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an in-house graphic designer, agency professional, or freelancer focused on logo creation.

• Proficiency in design software, particularly Adobe Illustrator.

• A strong logo design portfolio or an online graphic design portfolio link must accompany your application.

• A degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field, or extensive work experience in logo design is essential.

• Excellent visual taste and aesthetics are a must.

• A solid understanding of effective typography and color combinations for creating impactful logos.

• Awareness of current graphic design trends.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• The ability to work methodically and meet deadlines consistently.

• A proactive goal setter comfortable with establishing and achieving KPIs and targets.

• A self-starter capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

• Proficiency in business English for editing logos and optimizing SEO.

• Familiarity with Google Suite products and messaging platforms such as Slack.

• Reliable internet connectivity with a minimum bandwidth of 30 Mbps.

• A conducive home office environment to support productivity.
