Job summary

WHR Global Consulting is seeking a Logistics Officer to oversee the flow of goods within domestic and international supply chains, focusing on importation processes, local distribution, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Logistics or related field and 1–2 years of experience in logistics, with strong coordination with carriers, customs brokers, and suppliers to ensure timely import clearance and delivery. Onsite at Greenhills, San Juan, Philippines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in domestic logistics, importation, and supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of importation procedures, customs documentation, and trade compliance.
• Familiarity with domestic distribution networks, trucking operations, and warehouse management.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end logistics operations, including domestic transportation, importation, warehousing, and distribution.
• Coordinate with suppliers, shipping lines, customs brokers, and transport providers to ensure timely import clearance and delivery.
• Prepare and process shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, import permits, etc.).
• Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, and storage conditions to maintain accurate records and prevent shortages.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade laws, and government import/export requirements.
• Manage local deliveries and distribution schedules to support operational needs.
• Negotiate rates and contracts with freight forwarders, transport companies, and logistics service providers.
• Monitor logistics performance and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Resolve delays, damages, or discrepancies in shipments and deliveries.
• Prepare regular reports on logistics activities, costs, and performance metrics.
