POSITION TITLE: Logistics Officer

WORK LOCATION: Greenhills, San Juan

WORK SETUP: Full-Time, Onsite (8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Saturday)

SALARY: PHP 25,000 – 30,000

Job Summary

The Logistics Officer is responsible for overseeing the smooth flow of goods and materials within domestic and international supply chains. This role manages importation processes, local distribution, and logistics operations to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with trade regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Handle end-to-end logistics operations, including domestic transportation, importation, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, shipping lines, customs brokers, and transport providers to ensure timely import clearance and delivery.
  • Prepare and process shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, import permits, etc.).
  • Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, and storage conditions to maintain accurate records and prevent shortages.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade laws, and government import/export requirements.
  • Manage local deliveries and distribution schedules to support operational needs.
  • Negotiate rates and contracts with freight forwarders, transport companies, and logistics service providers.
  • Monitor logistics performance and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Resolve delays, damages, or discrepancies in shipments and deliveries.
  • Prepare regular reports on logistics activities, costs, and performance metrics.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in domestic logistics, importation, and supply chain operations.
  • Strong knowledge of importation procedures, customs documentation, and trade compliance.
  • Familiarity with domestic distribution networks, trucking operations, and warehouse management.
  • Proficient in MS Office and logistics/ERP systems.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
