Job summary

San Miguel Integrated Logistics Services, Inc. is seeking a Cost Accountant to support cost structures, standard costing, and profitability analyses. The role involves variance analysis, budgeting support, and collaboration on rate evaluations.

The ideal candidate has a BS Accountancy, 2+ years in cost accounting/financial planning, and basic tax knowledge. SAP and MS Office proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Accountancy.
• CPA is an advantage.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in Cost Accounting and Financial Planning.
• Basic knowledge of Tax Accounting.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and has experience in SAP.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing cost structures and maintaining standard costing.
• Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. budget vs. standard) to identify and explain discrepancies.
• Prepare cost reports, basic profitability analyses, and highlight areas for potential cost savings.
• Collaborate with the team in preparing cost forecasts and annual budgets.
• Review and perform costing computations for the Company’s services.
• Provide data support and recommendations to help evaluate proposed service rates.
• Maintain and monitor the Rates database.
• Prepare financial analyses and documentation to support rates negotiation.
