Job summary

Gomeco Metal Corporation is seeking a highly organized Logistics Assistant to support daily logistics and supply chain operations in the Philippines. The role involves coordinating shipments, maintaining records, preparing documentation, and ensuring smooth movement of goods.

You will work with suppliers, transport providers, and warehouse personnel, monitor inventory, generate performance reports, and help with compliance and procurement support.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, shipping or supply chain operations.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and Zoho.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Prepare and process shipping, receiving, and customs documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock control activities.
• Communicate with suppliers, transport providers, and warehouse personnel.
• Update logistics records, databases, and tracking systems.
• Resolve shipment delays, discrepancies, and delivery issues.
• Assist in scheduling deliveries and transportation routes.
• Generate reports on inventory, shipments, and logistics performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.
• Support warehouse and procurement teams as needed.
