Job description

Scope and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible & accountable for managing and running Transport Logistics Operation 2, including providing solutions and decisions required by the operation.
2. Conduct daily reviews of schedules prepared by the planner.
3. Secure all resources needed for operational execution.
4. Collaborate with the sales team regarding delivery requirements and processes.
5. Cater to directives given by Top Management accurately and efficiently.
6. Participate in negotiations of rates with 3rd Party Transport Service Providers.
7. Check and analyze dispatch plan results and develop appropriate plans.
8. Submit dispatch execution reports to Top Management.
9. Recommend cost-effective and efficient solutions to improve operations.
10. Provide real-time updates on unusual events that may constrain operations in delivering targets to Top Management.
11. Temporarily take over the supervisor position when needed due to leave or absence.
12. Research and suggest cost-effective shipping methods.
13. Organize training sessions for employees related to continuous improvement and logistics regulations.
14. Guide and lead the team towards achieving operational objectives effectively.
15. Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping legislation.
16. Perform other tasks as assigned.
