Job summary

Pointman Management Specialist, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to oversee end-to-end inter-warehouse transfers. You will monitor truck movements, coordinate regional availability, and ensure on-time loading and unloading across warehouses in Luzon.

A strong need for cross-functional communication and data tracking is essential. The role requires English and Tagalog fluency, 3+ years in shipping/trucking, and a flexible weekend schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have a functioning smartphone with reliable cellular load for calls and data.

Responsibilities

• Fleet availability and booking management to coordinate regional truck availability and ad-hoc requests.
• Track and monitor origin warehouse arrivals; escalate delays and report root causes.
• Ensure loading starts within 2 hours of arrival and monitor documents for timely departure.
• Maintain in-transit visibility with regular updates to stakeholders and check ETAs.
• Coordinate unloading priorities with destination warehouses.

Job Requirement:

• Job Title: Logistics Coordinator (Inter-Warehouse transfers
• Location: Remote

Job Summary:

• The MTO/MTI Coordinator will be responsible for the end-to-end monitoring of truck movements and warehouse coordination. The primary goal is to ensure that all scheduled transfers between all warehouses are executed on time, from truck booking to final unloading.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Fleet Availability & Booking Management

• Daily Capacity Check: Coordinate with vendors to determine truck availability per region (Bulacan and Calamba) for Adhoc requests.
• Tracker Maintenance: Follow up with vendors to ensure all truck details are submitted once the bookings are confirmed.

2. Origin Warehouse (WH) Monitoring

• Arrival Tracking: Verify that all scheduled trucks arrive at the origin warehouse on time. Issue
• Escalation: Identify and flag any delays in arrival. Report the root cause of delays (e.g., traffic, mechanical issues, driver concerns).
• Loading Efficiency: Ensure that warehouse operations begin loading the trucks within 2 hours of arrival. Monitor and flag any delays regarding the processing of transmittals and other documents to ensure trucks can depart immediately after loading.

3. In-Transit Visibility (Track & Trace)

• Long-Haul Tracking: For Visayas/Mindanao (VisMin) shipments, check and report truck locations twice daily.
• Luzon Deliveries: For Luzon-to-Luzon transfers, obtain accurate ETAs from drivers/vendors.
• Stakeholder Updates: Proactively inform Destination Warehouse PICs regarding the status and expected arrival of incoming trucks.

4. Destination Coordination

• Unloading Follow-up: Coordinate with destination warehouse teams to ensure that MTI trucks are prioritized for unloading upon arrival.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Communication Skills: Strong ability to coordinate with various stakeholders, including trucking coordinators, drivers, and warehouse personnel.
• Technical Proficiency: Must be proficient in Google Sheets for data entry and status tracking.
• Tools: Must have a functioning smartphone with a reliable cellular load for calls and data.
• Availability: Must be willing to work on weekends and follow a flexible schedule based on truck arrival/departure times.
• Character: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and persistent in following up on tasks

Basic Requirements

• Proficient in English and Tagalog

• Experience in Google Apps (GSheets, Gmail, GMeet)
• At least Senior High School Graduate
• Experience: At least 3 years in shipping/trucking industry
• Work Schedule: 9am to 9pm, 9pm to 9am
• Work Location: North and South Luzon
