Overseas is seeking a Senior SEO Specialist to own how families discover the company across Google, local search, and AI search platforms. You’ll lead technical SEO, local presence, and content strategy, building the organic growth engine yourself rather than outsourcing.

This execution-heavy role requires hands-on work across landing pages, Google Business Profiles, backlinks, and AI search visibility, with a focus on qualified leads and measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of growing organic traffic and business results.
• Strong technical SEO skills: crawlability, indexation, schema.
• Deep local SEO experience across multiple markets.
• Experience building topic authority and content strategy in regulated verticals.
• Proficiency with GA4 and SEO tools like Semrush or Ahrefs.
• H hands-on AI search optimization and structuring content for LLM citation.
• Experience with link building and digital PR.
• Conversion-focused mindset targeting qualified leads.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize landing pages for city/state/service areas.
• Own Google Business Profiles, directories, citations, reviews.
• Oversee technical SEO: crawling, indexing, schema, redirects with engineering.
• Develop content strategy aligned with parental search behavior and E-E-A-T.
• Optimize AI search visibility across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity.
• Identify external sources AI relies on for autism/ABA topics.
• Earn backlinks, directory placements and expert mentions.
• Maintain growth dashboard with Search Console, GA4 and SEO tools.
